Laguz Norse Rune Meaning

Laguz (ᛚ) is the twenty-first rune in the Norse Futhark runic alphabet and represents the sound l. It represents the concept of water, particularly the flowing waters of a river or the deep, unpredictable sea. It is associated with intuition, the subconscious, and the vital life force that flows through all living things.

Laguz is the fifth rune in the third aett. Following Mannaz (the human intellect), Laguz represents the irrational and emotional depths that lie beneath the surface of the mind.
